Product Description

Receiving a plant in the mail can be stressful for the plant. Follow these immediate steps to ensure a smooth transition:
Unbox Carefully: Gently open the package and cut away any tape, plastic, or netting holding the plant.
Inspect the Plant: Check the leaves, stem, and soil. Slight drooping or a few fallen leaves are completely normal due to transit stress.
Hydrate Right Away: Water the soil thoroughly until water drains out from the bottom holes. Spray a light mist on the leaves as well.
Acclimatize (3–5 Days): Do not expose the plant to direct, harsh sunlight immediately. Place it in a shade or bright, indirect light area for 3 to 5 days so it can recover from transit shock.
🪴 Potting and Soil Guidelines
Once your plant has rested for a few days, it's time to re-pot it if needed.
Pot Selection: Choose a pot that is 8 to 12 inches wide with good drainage holes at the bottom.
Ideal Soil Mix: Apple Bael plants prefer well-draining, fertile soil.
50% Garden Soil
30% Organic Compost / Vermicompost
20% Sand or Perlite (for drainage)
☀️ Care & Maintenance Guide
1. Sunlight ☀️
Initial Stage: Keep in partial sunlight for the first week after potting.
Mature Stage: Once settled, Apple Bael loves full sun! Place it where it receives at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily for maximum growth and fruiting.
2. Watering 💧
Frequency: Water only when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry to the touch.
Caution: Avoid overwatering! Apple Bael is hardy, but waterlogged soil can lead to root rot. Make sure drainage holes are clear.
3. Fertilization 🌿
Early Stage: Avoid synthetic fertilizers for the first month.
Maintenance: Apply organic fertilizers like vermicompost or mustard cake liquid fertilizer once every 3–4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
